In 2016, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following double mastectomies, surgical reconstructions, infection complications, and losing a lot of weight, she died of a massive heart attack at my grandmother's house with me by her side in May 2019. Worst day of my life!

With that image engrained into my mind, my life was about to change drastically. I couldn't get over the fact that my mother wasn't there anymore. I remember the times that I would try to comfort my mother and make her feel beautiful and radiant, despite her suffering the pains of cancer and surgical recovery. I was there by her side 24/7, even when the paramedics showed up at grandma's house. I was only 11 years old. I was in disbelief with what was happening and the reality of it all. She was gone!

Then, the Covid-19 pandemic hit! My dad and I had to make many adjustments. I was numb, but I wanted to do something, anything to help, give back and maybe ease the pain of mom's death by giving back. My dad and I talked about the "ugliness" of cancer whether it be chemotherapy, radiation, or medications with horrible side effects, many of the survivors struggle with the uncertainties of the future. How could we give back? I remember my mom always wanting to be "beautiful", "radiant", "feel loved", and feel feminine again. We marched in many cancer "parades" and "walks" in many cities. We supported others who were going through tough times, going through chemo, struggling after chemo and/or have lost loved ones. So many "survivors" glad to be alive and experiencing life's pleasures and the simple things in life. But there still was pain. I saw it in my mother's eyes, and I began to see it in others too. What could I do to make my mom feel beautiful again? How could I help make others feel beautiful again? Was it possible? Could we make products that don't harm the body but somehow revive the body from the harm done to it? My dad worked over 30 years in the health industry seeing plenty of patients with bad skin, so, we were on a mission.

My dad and I talked about formulating something to help people with their complexions and create a healthier skin now and for the future, especially the people beaten down by chemotherapy and such. No more chemicals. No more harsh toxins. Products to elevate the skin's natural beauty, glow, radiant and absolutely beautiful. Our family connections in Hungary and Austria led us to my grandma's uncle Dr. L. Jendrassik who was a European acclaimed Nobel Prize biochemist who formulated many natural concoctions and ointments throughout his career. He was honored on a national postage stamp for his achievements. We had access to some of his formulations through family ties. So, we began our research, over 4 years before we decided to launch any product. Testing, retesting, and testing again. We tested on every skin condition, race, culture, gender, and age group before even considering offering it to the public, often tweaking the formula for improvements.

With the help of local and national cosmetologists, dermatologists, doctors, and our beloved great uncle Jendrassik's writings, we created NuVisage (French term Nouveau Visage - "new face"). We also consult with the EWG (Environmental Workers Group) regarding toxicity, harmfulness and product ingredients that are verified by the group as safe. Unfortunately, many products that are considered safe to use have no long-term/longitudinal studies to prove their absolute safety. So, we simply don't use them. Anything lab designed and formulated we stay away from, including synthetics.

We don't promise miracles, only products that work, are pure and simple and not too complicated. Natural and organically sourced ingredients from around the world ... like nature intended. Nothing else. Period.
